Last updated: August 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains information handling on Safer Digital Desk. The site is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Google may process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and operate Blogger, such as IP address, browser and device information, request data, cookies, and diagnostic records. Google's handling of information is governed by its own policies and settings.
Information You Provide
Safer Digital Desk does not currently provide a contact form, account registration, comments, newsletter signup, or direct file upload. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send, along with ordinary email metadata. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, private keys, financial account details, client files, or other sensitive information.
Email is used to review and respond to the message, evaluate a correction, or consider a topic suggestion. It may be retained when reasonably necessary for correspondence, security, recordkeeping, or dispute handling. You may request deletion of an ordinary message, subject to legal, security, and recordkeeping needs, by contacting saferdigitaldesk@gmail.com.
Cookies and Technical Data
Blogger and Google may use cookies or similar technologies for platform functionality, security, preferences, measurement, and abuse prevention. Browser controls can restrict or delete cookies, although doing so may affect site or platform functions. For current details, consult Google's privacy and cookie information directly.
Safer Digital Desk does not currently use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. We do not currently serve Google AdSense ads, operate an affiliate program, or use third-party advertising pixels. If analytics, advertising, affiliate relationships, embeds, or other material data practices are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe them.
External Links
Articles link to official documentation and other external websites. Those sites have their own data practices, cookies, terms, and security controls. A link does not transfer responsibility for an external site's practices to Safer Digital Desk.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers necessary to host the site or deliver email, and it may be preserved or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or maintain site security.
Children's Privacy
This publication is intended for adults managing freelance or small-team work. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.
Policy Changes and Contact
This policy may change when the site's services or legal obligations change. Material updates will receive a new “Last updated” date. Questions about this policy can be sent to saferdigitaldesk@gmail.com.
